will clowns host in a glass anem?
the reason i ask is because i have 2 in my 55g and someday soon i would like to get a mated pair of clowns and i was wondering if they would host there. they are both about 2.5-3.5" wide so they could fit both of them in it.

not likely... ive had ove loads of them with clowns and they never touch them! but a sad story. my female clown tried to eat a bristtle worm and it poked him and he freaked out and swam all of the tank twiching. hes alright now :)

when i had a set of clowns in my old tank they went near it for a little while but went away. that is y i was wondering if they would host in the anemone. i want them to host in a nano tank with some not so great lights and the glass anem. works good with all lights

yes. i have done some research on this one. he popped up one day and i freeked out so over a few weeks it grew to a nice size and i was able to get a couple of confermations on it being a glass anem. so that is why i know its a glass, as far as the clowns go i was hoping they would host for breeding. i had a pair look like they hosted but wasnt sure because i lost them a few days later. Big fish eat little fish
. and the other i think killed himself cuz he got sucked into a filter area
so i will never really know i guess. my LFS stocks them for sale and i was thinking about buying 1 for my Nano to see how it works, only if they will host though. My LFS dosnt know if they will host in the glass.

Yes but they are pretty, larger and are sold on saltwaterfish.com as well as by many other vendors. Some people like them. I would say they are a few steps up from your run of the mill aipstasia.

Any zoas would be fine, some of the pinks and blues may fad with low lights, I have oranges and greens under very week lights, they seem to hold color better. Any mushrooms, button polyps, cloves, gsp and leathers. There are many, I'd just make sure you buy coral with low lighting requirements. I assume you'll have pc lighting I am not sure what you are asking
do you want to know minimum wattage for these softies? I am sure what ever fixture you can get to fit on your 10 g. will be fine.
