sure, you can believe what you want but i know that science is truth and nothing else can be proved. so im happy and prosperous in my life and dont need "religion".
believe what you will and by the time we can all find out what the truth is, its too late to let everyone else know what the truth is.

Technically, the sceince "truths" you are talking about, are theories, meaning that they havent been proven.
I do agree with you that i dont need religion either, religion is what causes people to turn against each other, the bible doesnt tell people to create religions though, it tells people to love God, not what to wear, how to pray, and who to and hate.

im not saying i believe the theories about religion that science says they are after all just theories. i mean i base my life on science that has been proven. i do what i feel right and i dont live my life by what anyone else says. i use my conscience as my lead not a book.

This also is not true. The books that now make up the bible were in the form of scrolls. Since not many copies of each scroll existed, it was common for a family to own just one scroll or know someone that did. The bearers of these scrolls would gather and read from them. One family might bring the scroll of Genesis and another might bring Job. The copying of these scrolls was meticulous and was taken very seriously.
The telephone analogy does not apply because the words were copied from text to text, not mouth to ear as in the telephone game.
It's OK if you choose not to believe it, just don't base your disbelief on something you haven't researched. When I began to research the origins of my faith, I found that many of the things I had thought were true simply were not.

That is certainly your perogative.
I just wanted to clear up the misconceptions about history, what the Bible says, how the Bible came together, etc.

I would argue it doesn't matter. The original quote said
THAT was why more people have been killed in the name of religion why more people have lost friends and family and so on and so forth than ANY other reason
The premise is religious people have killed more in the name of religion than any other reason. Not, as you seem to be asking, whether people have been killed because of their religion.

I apologize. What I should have said, is that unless you blame a person for their religious beliefs then it doesn't matter.
Technically Hitler killed 6 million+ Jews. Do you consider that a religious killing? Stalin killed over 40 million Russians. I'm sure some of them went to church.

If so then I will rephrase my response to take that into account.

youre twisting it up... YES the holocaust was religious based becaused Hitler singled out the Jewish... he HATED the jews and therefore wanted a comlete genocide...
Stalin DID kill if one differed from the Russian Orthodox Church... and yes i would consider that death in the name of religion as well...

Jews were merely at the top of Hitler's list. Blacks, Asians, Eskimos, Samoans and on, and on, and on would have been eliminated had he not been stopped.
Not saying that it wasn't religious, just pointing out that he wouldn't have stopped once the Jews were gone.

Yep. Eventually only the people he felt were "pure" would remain.
One of the first things he did was require firearm registration. Then he made it illegal to own a firearm. The registration papers were used to collect firearms rendering the citizens helpless. All was done on the premise of reducing crime.
He also made it illegal to homeschool. Children were forced to learn only state approved material. California recently had a panel of judges do just that very thing. The ruling has been vacated pending appeal.

oh i know about the california judge anti-homeschool. my mom is a public school teacher and she reccomends home or private schooling. public has gotten so laxed with the hiring of teachers, their creditials and well to be honest its gone way downhill.

In Kalifornia is is now ILLEGAL to portray gays and lesbians in a negative manner at school. So if homeschooling is removed my kids will be forced to accept gay and lesbial lifestyles as acceptable behavior which I strongly oppose. If we see a problem arise in our district we will remove them from public school.

You actually need to research what books are in the bible what books are not and their are many books of the bible that as you stated were destroyed that actually were not. He is the mighty deceiver (satan) that is he will come to a woman as a beautiful man in perfect form or to a man in a females perfect form and so on. He does not go after most people very hard until they alter and change their lifestyle to live for GOD. It gets bad before it gets good. the devil will tempt and deceive all through it and it is by getting closer to GOD that you will be able to discern his voice over the enemy.
As for your dream GOD uses dreams visions and prophecy to speak to us but discernment is key. You must live by GOD and be able to discern what is from him and what is not.
Dreams from GOD are in color where as others are in black and white. How about writing the dream in it's entirety and perhaps GOD will give someone a word and be able to tell you the meaning of the dream but again this may sound silly was it in color ?
I have stated many times before I am not a writer. I speak well just not able to put it to paper int he same form.
You can read things such as 'He came to set the captives free" by Dr. Rebbecca brown that will explain a lot of this better or many other books.
Every dream that I have ever had that I can remember has been in color. I cannot recall a dream in my life ever have been in black and white.
