Going to Branson :)

I think most of you guys here know that I rarely leave home....besides work...and the occasional day trip
WELL....this Friday My husband and I are going to Branson....for the weekend,.......We will leave Friday morning.....fish will be fed......tanks will be topped off
we will take the dogs to the groomers for boarding.....cats will be fine...we will return Sunday evening
I have no one to check on things for me.....BUT I have decided if I can not leave the fish for a day (which is all they will really be alone) or 2......I really have to re-think this hobby......I have to get out of this house.....LOL......
OH YEAH.....I have the internet on my phone...AND I WILL be taking my lap top....BAHAHA.....so you guys will NEVER get rid of me HEEHEE

You know what....our only set in stone plans are on Friday night to go to a restaurant called Whippersnappers....an all you can eat seafood buffet in Branson
and Saturday night to the Ozarks to a restaurant called Lamberts...the one that they throw the rolls at you......LOL....as far as anything else goes....we are just gonna do whatever we feel like
The main thing is I am getting out of the house.....LOL....we might just walk thru town a bit......maybe do something else....IDK and IDC...LOL.....as long as we are away from here :)

WOW, getting out of the cave? Have fun and enjoy. I'm excited for you. Don't you have a kid that can peek in and check on the tanks?

Not locally I don't :( But for this trip it's really only 1 day alone.......so I am sure they will be fine......if/when I go away for longer, I will have to find a "sitter"

ya, thats always fun. We have to do the same when we leave for a week or so. 2 dogs (Boxer and a Great Dane, 5 tanks, 2 snakes, corn snake and a foot long red tailed boa, and a cat). So have fun and get out there. How much trouble can these fish get into anyhoo, oh...... the parties they will have Lol

Meowow You really need to get an Apex controller and auto top off equipment LOL! You can access the apex from the web to check on your stuff just to reassure yourself everything is OK.

I have ATO on the big tank......really not too worried (OK I AM) LOL

I'll tell you what Seth.....If anything happens to cause a tank to crash for a weekend.....as I said earlier.....I will truly have to re-think this hobby. Living in the area I live in, I have found no one close enough (THAT I TRUST) to watch things for me.....and I DO intend on doing some vacationing before I drop dead....LOL....or am too old to enjoy it
Thanks for the well wishes.....I just want to relax and remember what it is like to be away for some fun :)

It occures to me that Mom is going to be away from the House!! I see a HUGE Reef (SWF.com) club meeting in our forecast at her house!!
Bring the fajita meat and beer! Moms away and the kids shall play!

okay, you won't be HOME.......... we will be there. Fajitas and beer and talking abot whatever...... like OMG her tanks are a mess ! Don't leave any personals laying out!

Lois, I have one word for you.
Webcam.
Set it up, aim it at your fish tank, and you can access your camera from anywhere with an internet connection. 24/7 verification that the tank is looking OK!
Fine, that was more than one word. But when have I EVER been able to keep it down to just one??

My feet are killing me,.....LOL, we decided to WALK to dinner and down the strip, and I wore the wrong flip flops :(
B ack at the room.....gonna go to the pool/jacuzzi and sports bar :)
