Gold Stripe Maroon Clown and Tomato Clown in 75?

I was looking for a gold stripe maroon and couldn't find one. I found a pair of small tomato clowns and now they called from my local fish club and said they got a gold stripe maroon clown in for me. I added the tomato clowns less than a week ago and they are about 1". Can I add a gold stripe?

Anyone has any experience with these 2? I know I could try it and if it doesn't work I could bring one of them back to the local fish club I belong to.

U may not have the chance to return if they are dead. I love my maroon but they don't mix well w other clowns even other maroons for that matter

I used to have 2 of each, the nightmare are tomato Clowns, they fight 24/7, one of them lost the entire tail, but she did recover well, the end I lost both tomato from ICH. I am planning to get them back, those fish are very active. My two maroons now 1 and 2 inches, but I don't like them because they don't swim as much as Tomato did.

If I have three clowns now, 2 maroons, 1 B&W, can I add more clowns to my tank, I have total of 8 clowns back in Last September.
If you have three and they get along good, I wouldn't push my luck. They have established their territories, and adding any more will only result in fighting. It's not worth the risk...

Here are how I get 8 Clowns in 2014, the first two are two regular, they never fight but like to swim, than I added two Maroons, they always fight, I through at one point the small one could be gone at any time, than I added two-tomato, now two maroons step fighting, and the big one need to watch out from two-tomato, than I added two black and white, it comes out no where, no one wants to fight after one tomato get serious injury. Everyone were watched out for the damsel.

I am thinking if I could get another B&W before add any clowns, it should help to stable the tank.

I have found that mixing clowns in a FOWLR system leads to conflict sooner or later. In my reef tank clowns are more successful because they will easily identify anemones or filamentous corals as hosts and cooperate. Last week I saw a system that had one of the largest anemones I have ever seen, at least 24" at the base. It had maybe a dozen clowns hosted (I don't recall seeing any maroons, though). My anecdotal opinion is that given sufficient shelter spots clowns get along. But only anecdotal.

This could explain why the Ocellaris is still alive. If it were me I would never consider two pair of Clownfish in anything less than a 6' tank. With Maroons or Tomato Clownfish in the picture I would increase that to 8'. The fact that your Ocellaris is alive means that you have an above average chance of it working with two pairs of clownfish.

My end advice is still to remove one of the species though.

Another word, I cloud add any small fish but not clown. IF the Maroon and Ocellaris (between 2-2.5) are the same side, it seems to me you think the Maroon will kill the Ocellaris, and they will not be a match for it.

All of clowns that I have are together about 2 months now, it seems to me it workout fine, I am planning to add more fish into the tank, I may have to add more tang, and small angelfish.
