Now the cops are saying it may have been an accident. I guess at 72 you gotta do something to get your kicks. I guess what a way to go. Be a lot better than him offing himself.

Go look up what kind of 'asphyxiation' it was.
Pretty sad his wife and kids have to read about that in worldwide headlines. "How did you dad die?", "He put a rope around his neck and another 'part' of his body to see if he could get a 'rise'."

I agree....accident or not....this is awful for them...1st of course the actual loss...second we know the tabloids are going to tear them apart...

Seriously? Gotta love it. From died of natural causes, to hung himself, to had a rope tied from his __ to his neck, to died with his hands tied behind his back. I love people saying stuff before all the facts are in.

well, it sorta sucks when the police are giving out wrong information. i've not read anywehre though that his hands were behind his back, only just tied together with the rope that was around his neck and genitals

I heard the reports of the hands being tied are coming from his agent and manager. Hands being bound would give the initial indication of foul play. I think if that was the case there wouldn't have been the initial report of a suicide.

It is only being reported by his families reps. I checked the Yahoo and MSNBC sites again. Only the family/attorney is saying his hands were tied behind his back. All other sources say his neck and junk were bound. Maybe his door was tarnished and he needed to polish his knob...
