Renee how long have you had Afib? I am on the beta blocker metoprolol. The event monitor I am using is called Life Watch. It comes with a cell phone. I really don’t get any symptoms so if I go into Afib It automatically calls the center and downloads the info only down side is I have to keep the phone within five feet of me 24/7. Last night was kind of ruff every time I fell asleep I kept getting a beep that woke me with a prompt that one of the three electrodes was not functioning. How do they handle any surgery’s one might have if there is a chance they could have an event. (Event don’t you love how they use that word)
