she will relase them in the tank and right when they hit the water they hatch and turn into free swimming fry. after 24hrs feed them newely hatched bbs or planxton
Phyto plankton? Good luck Coral Keeper. I got to get a timer for my 20g frag tank, but next weeks money is going to a pack of live sand and water to start cycling.
Or is it freeze dried plankton? What about some flame scallops, feather dusters, and urchins also along with the sun coral and orange tree sponge? Would a group of 5 peppermint shrimp be good Bang Guy? They sell them as a group here at swf.com.
Once the eggs are in her belly pouch thing in how long do they hatch? I found out she was pregnant only yesterday and today in the morning there were only 5 eggs left and right now there are NON how can that be?? I'm looking for them right now, so far no luck finding any... I hope i find at least one. How big are they when they just hatch on the first day?

If you only have one Cleaner Shrimp then the eggs are infertile and will be gone in a few days.

5 Shrimp would be great. You should have Shrimp hatching about once a week.

Getting another is a good idea.

I've have got a brain coral, had two mushrooms that reefkprz incouraged me to blend up and I don't know if they're alive, and had a plate coral but it died.
I don't got a full reef but I know a little. Everyone has room to learn.

If it were me I would skip the File Clams (Flame Scallop) and the Sponge. Neither will survive without a lot of food in the water column and it's nearly impossible to maintain good water quality in a small tank with a lot of food in the water.
I agree sun corals only need meaty foods. At least thats all I feed mine and they have been around and doing good for about 4 years now. Also forward me the info from bang buy. mscarpena@msn.com. Thanks and good luck. I breed clowns and looking for something else to do. Maybe we could work together LMK what you think.
