OK, here is the deal. One of my LFSs has this 400 gal plexiglass tank that someone had set up somewhere, but then remodeled and when they moved they could not get it out. Sooooo, they cut about 8 inches off the end.
I am going to check it out tomorrow, but I have a full work/wood shop and every tool known to mankind. "cept for one of them bull dozer thiggys"
I am pretty sure I can cut the end of the tank to be flush and then route out the end to fit INTO the main tank and glue it all up like new. The tank will end up being about 8 inches less wide which should technically make it about a 370 gallon tank.
I am going to plumb it into my existing system which was why when i bought the calk reactor and skimmer, I bought really big honkin ones.
I am finishing a room in my basement to be the family room, so I'm thinking big a few big ass fish, NASOs, etc.
This whole thing will actually be a cool thing to document here so THAT is what I will do.
