Green Acro turning Brown

Just noticed tonight that my green acro is brown? Any ideas why?
could it be starting to bleach?

Sense August 2nd so 2- weeks

Yes Im running 2- 400w mh The coral are about half way up the rocks

It's not bleaching.
Could be a spectral difference in the lights, that would be my guess.

I'm with Bang on this one. Rendos once bought a brown acro in a LFS. Once he took it home, after about a month, it turned bright green...

Do you mean a spectrum change in my lighting or the coral adapting to my lightings spectrum? or something else?

Is it a Wild coral? How far away is it from the lighting? How much current is it receiving?

I don't know if its wild. This is one I got from a LFS. It is 13in from the water line so 21in from the light. I went and measured it. It is in a good spot for current. Last night is was dark green and tonight it is brown

are you running 65k sakis?

No they are 10000k ushio and the VHOs are Actinic 03

Im not sure It was under MHs and VHOs but I dont know the wattage or color of their MHs

If it did change that quickly, it's most likely from different spectrums of lighting.

Thanks Graham it is really brown now maybe it will go from brown to purple wishful thinking
