he will eat the clown sooner or later. I hope you dont have any crusteceans. I've seen some panthers nip on corals.nice pics BTW how big is the tank

its a 90 gallon, but i have had two damsels in there with him also for about a year now, and no problems, but he will be getting a new home next week, im bringing him to my store and putting him in the 350 gallon in wall tank

That dude is big! I'm very VERY surprised he hasn't eaten that clown! I'd get him out of there asap, or you'll be short a few fish, very soon!

well he already said that it is going into a 350 next week...and besides, panther groupers are one of the more peaceful groupers anyways.

I like the orange groupers with all the pink poka dots lol. But the panthers are pretty as well. Just something about the black and white (but orange is my fav color).

not to hyjack key, but my mother in law has a condo in New port richey. Is that near you?

Your panther is still bright white! Mine used to be, and now he's kinda mottled greyish. ALl that I have seen, no matter what size, are all bright white! What is the cause of this? He gets pretty darka t night of course, but he never gets bright white anymore.

I guess the one at the top is a little mottled too, but he looks huge (I've heard when they get that big, they get a little mottled), and he's not as bad as mine.
