Guy - how are the plants doing?

Hey, I was just wondering how the seagrass and the plants were doing.
Also curious if you got a goby to pair up with your pistol shrimp. I beleive i found out what type it is, Alpheus soror.

The Turtle Grass is hanging on but not spreading like i had hoped. The rest just slowly wasted away
All the Shrimp you send are doing great. They've spawned, grown, etc. I REALLY like them. The act just like cleaners and eat out of my hand, etc. very friendly shrimp. I like them so much I may attempt raising the larvae next time.
Along with your mud came the coolest Bristle Worm. It is a Eunicid and I think it's a predator but very cool none the less.
I believe in order to get those plants going I will have to invest in HID lighting vs my VHO. I'm just not ready for that yet.

fishfood i want to grow turtle grass in my refuge how much light
do i need its 50 gals want it on 1 side of tank. if you have any plants or bugs please let me know. email gudgut@hotmail.com

Well if any tank was capable of growing those plants i would say guys fuge was, but it looks like they didn't make it. I collected turtle grass, widgion grass and cuban shoal grass and sent some to Guy. I also sent him some smooth cord grass and black needle rush to see how that would do also. We were curious as to how it would grow in that fuge of his. So I guess my point is that you most likely will not have any luck with it. I do not have any of those grasses in my fuge.
