My H. Magnifica is coming tomorrow and i have heard two different things regarding acclimating it. One says to just do a temp acclimate and the other says to do a drip acclimate. Which one should i do? Also, if my nitrates are high i know that i need to do water changes but with RO or with salt. A friend of mine tested her tank and her nitrates are high.. I didn't want to give her the wrong answer.

I say drip acclimate.
And what do you mean by "with RO or with salt?"...? You should be doing a water change with RO water with salt mixed into it.

Sorry...i meant with fresh water RO or with the salt mix....i have had my tank for over a year and have always just topped off with fresh water RO....i am talking about doing water changes..you take out the water and then replace the water with just fresh RO water or with the salt mixed in with the fresh water...

If you don't know how to mix salt, you don't need to get an anemone. Best of luck!
And it's Salt+RO/DI freshwater, mixed for 24 hours with a powerhead. Make sure your new saltwater has the same salinity as your tank.

Actually Snake i don't appreciate your tone. I was in a bit of a hurry when i was replying and it was also for a friend of mine. So forgive me if I didn't properly state the water. I buy my water already premixed. I don't mess with mixing salt. I should have just let her get her own account and ask the question herself. I understand that you know alot but do you understand that you come off as a (bad word)..Did you read my original post...i thought this was a friendly place not a place to be put down..thanks alot...i have a family and am quite busy so when i get a chance to sit down it is only for a few moments. I take my tank and it's inhabitants seriously. I don't buy them to kill them. And I am sure my friend doesn't either. This forum makes me not want to ask questions now or refer anyone here to ask questions because of how they are talked to. If you are any prediction of how people are treated in here than who would want to be a part of this.BTW I do know how to mix salt i just prefer not to mess with it.
In the future you might want to research how to talk to people. Not all of us have been doing this for 6 years. And if i should misask a question please ask me to reiterate what i am trying to say. I told my friend this was a friendly site but after the way i was treated i won't refer her here and i plan on leaving myself...
