wow awesome i may not have to spend 200 to retrofit my 30 gallon tank and run VHO or whatever. I so want to try this and possibly mod it enough to work on my existing hood. Any idea if it might be acceptable for a BTA atleast? please keep us updated on any attempts to run this.
i have already found a lamp to fit mine, it says its 50 watts so like two of these would take up less room than my existing NO, think this might work .
Does the light penetrate as far as flourescents (SP?)
