for the past two years I've had this hammer coral. It's really healthy and almost twice as big now as when I got it. Once in a great while I notice a couple of the tips of it's tentatcles floating around on the current in the tank. Just wondering if this is some attempt to reproduce, or some other normal function. It happened this past weekend as I noticed a green hammer tip in one of my leathers and another tip floating along the sand bed. I remember this happening maybe one other time since I've had the coral so it's not a once a month or everyday kind of thing. Anyone else have this happen? No reason to think anything is attacking the coral as it is always fully extended (when lights are on) and very healthy.
