Hammer time!!

I got this hammer coral about a week ago.....

the local store was selling it as a frogspawn....hehehehe

WELL i THOUGHT SO AT FIRST BUT MY FRIEND SHOWED ME A PIC IN A BOOK AND IT WAS IDENTICAL...SAID IT WAS A BRANCHING HAMMER??

That's a hammer.
Frogspawn has multiple tips per tentacle.

Thanks....it is a beautiful piece....and so far is thriving....

You should get a sexy shrimp for it be careful if you get one... take the shrimp and put it directly on the hammer coral or else it will die.

Well, I have to say..I have had shrimp before....they became anemone food....

So I really dont want to do that to anymore little shrimp.. thanks for the suggestion though, they are cute little things.

ok guys, question here about my hammer or frogspawn, whatever it is...It has been doing good, one of the heads seems to be splitting, but I just saw it literally let go of 2 of its arms/tenacles, whatever they are approx where it is splitting. IS THIS NORMAL??? IS SOMETHING WRONG WITH IT?????
