Well, the skanks that moved in next door have dogs that we now know have fleas and they don't do anything to treat the fleas.
Now my backyard is infested with fleas and my poor dog is scratching like crazy. I also found a couple of fleas in the house! :scared:
I applied frontline to my dog yesterday and bought some yard spray and house spray (thank god I have wood floors and not carpet) to rid myself of the plague that the skanks next door brought upon me and my poor dog.
I went over to their house and complained and they said that their dogs were fine and weren't bothered by the fleas. I wanted to punch the m*****f*****s right in the nose, but I restrained myself.
So, because of them, I had to spend $60 on yard and house treatments and waste a good part of my Saturday. Not to mention the embarasment I felt when I went in and purchased all these products.
I will now have to treat my yard every 3 months to keep their fleas out of my yard.
At least Sunday I can sit down, relax, grill my 16 ounce ribeye (rare/medium rare; I have always loved a bloody steak), and watch some football.
By the way, does anyone know if there is a place I can call to report these people and if it would do any good?
Sorry for the long post .
I know the feeling, we've been battling fleas out our house too. They are a pain, and we have all carpet, so I think they have laid eggs in our carpet.
I don't know if their is anything you can do about the neighbors. I don't think the health department would do anything about fleas if they are outside.
