Wow ! just finished reading all 3 friggin pages of that post! This is the future of aquatics, and the hobby of aquaria, that we all are wintessing right her ein this discussion. What i see is a huge market for the chelating algae, both in a commercial aspect and to the common hobbiest, if trace element toxicity is determined as the cause of OTS. That was great reading. I think i amgoing to take the artical to my organic chem prof and see what he thinks of it. God there are so many questions that this hobby has given me tha ti wat to go out and act on scietifically, but being a stupid undergrad college student doesnt give me much room to work with. Guess ill just have to write all this stuff down so that when i prep my doctorate thesis i havea ton of stuff to figure out! I totally want to be like ron, a marine bio prof, who focuses on helping the aquarium trade, as well as the ocean . Definately something to shoot for.
I cant believe that i was able to follow that discussion and comprehend stuff. I guess i really have learned from college!!
good luck all!
