I've heard they are related to scorpions, but don't know. They sure don't look like scorpions. As far as genus, or whatever, you've got me there.
All I know is the scorpions are big, black, and mean... oh, and they'll kill the hell out of a camel spider if you put them in an empty water bottle together.
