HELP! Explain RO/DI "waste" water to use?

:help: &
to my pea-brain.
First, I am in progress to buy RO/DI (Probably Typhoon III 75 GPD). I have done research as much as I can.
Second, MANY THANKS TO BIRDIE FOR A BRILLIANT IDEA that "waste" water go toward to washer machine for that have conveniced me to go for RO/DI.
Third, I need a clear understand of "What can I use other than washer machine with waste
water?"
My question can waste water be drinkable? Would it be equalivent like Distilled or Drinking water?
Many Thanks!

Watering plants. Waste water is going to have a high concentration of TDS, I would think you would be able to drink it but I don't think it would be better than straight tap.

Don't know about the TDS levels. I would guess the filters would trap a lot of them but I do know that the phosphate levels of the waste water are still less than tap and mine tastes better than the tap.

What about a evap line for a F/W pond?
It bugs the hell out of me for the 9/1 ratio of water tht I get.
I like the wahing machine idea, but i cannot see how this is feasable without a cistern.:notsure:

Ranger - you should get a longer restrictor & get that ratio down to 4 or 5 to 1. In the summer my output goes right into the pool.

Thanks for that information. I had no idea I could reuse the waste water from my RO/DI unit. I'll setup another 32 gallon gargage can for the waste water and use it to water my plants. Obviously, it will fill much faster than the "clean" can and it will take me months to use one can full for the plants, but at least that saves some of the waste water I am generating...

I've started using it for my washing machine. After reading that here I thought I'd give it a try. For each 5 gallons of RODI water I make I can do 1 "super" load of laundry.
