Help fast LIFE OR DEATH SITUATION!!!

Ok guys so im up early because my timer failed and turned on all my 10,000k lights at 6:00 am when it was pitch black in m room. The fish were disoriented but i immediately turned off the light and turned on a dim light across the room. Will they be ok. What should i do?

Nothing, your fish are fine. They may have been a little spooked, but unless they jumped out of the tank all is well ...relax.

maybe they will think its a lightning storm.before the invention of light timers back when i did alot of my drinking in my young days .i probably left the fish tank lights on overnight 3 days a week.

LOL, my husband and I actually did this last night because we were in NYC late drinking with friends.... Good to know I'm not alone...

i did more drinking in my teens than after i was legal.sure cant get away with that anymore .the police really didnt do anything to us unless someone got really stupid.now they hang ya

You seriously need to work on your post titles. It makes you look like a dumb@ss when it's just a timer malfunction that is completely NOT CRITICAL! Pretty sure I'm not going to look at any posts by your name now.

YIKES neil....a little rough....BUT JAMES, you are new, and you are young.....try to post titles that are not as dramatic, and also DO NOT post multiple threads with the same issue.....You will not get more help, in the long run you will get less...people will look at your name and think..OH NO...NOW WHAT
....seriously....read some other threads...see how they are worded, and look at the responses

Ok, in retrospect that was a little bit harsh, and yes I had just gotten back from overtime in the office on a Sunday when they don't have the AC on. lol

I THINK HE ONLY WANTS ATTENTION BECAUSE HES STILL LEARNING.......... IM YOUNGER THAN U BUT KID I PROBOBALY READ MORE BOOKS AND THREADS THAN U AND IM ONLY 14!IVE BEEN IN THIS HOBBY FOR 5 YEARS NOW......WELL THE FRESHWATER FISH BUT THROUGH THOSE FIVE YEARS IVE READ A LOT OF SALTWATER BOOKS MAGAZINES AND BLOGS WHILE SAVING MONEY FOR THE HOBBY LOLS THAT WAS LONG! I BRAG.........
