HELP!!! Fish are laying on bottom breathing heavy

all of my fish but one are laying close to the bottom breathing really heavy what should i do?
parameters:
ph 8.0
amm 0
nitrite 0
nitrate 0
sg 1.024
temp 80
(did nothing to the tank in a couple days)

How long have they all been in the tank? What sort of water do you use to do water changes? Do you have a lid on the tank?
It almost sounds like they're suffering from acclimation shock, but if they've been in the tank a while, perhaps the dissolved oxygen level is really low. Just a couple thoughts.

Yeah if you have an air stone and pump, you could put it in there for a while.... 10-15 min.... Not long, just enough to add air back into the water. BUT if they are new fish and u just put them in, than it does indeed sound like acclimation shock... NOT a good thing...

yeah that is pretty weird.... Sometimes tanks do stuff that no one can explain... Like my snails have been dieing... and no one can figure it out... Id try the air thing and see if that works. maybe if you leave it in there for 30min or so....

also lower the tank temp slowly over a 24 hour period as colder water holds more oxygen.
This is strange, recheck you test again just to be sure

ALL of the fish were in there for 2 weeks?? Meaning, you added them all at once? If that's the case, then I do not believe your ammonia test kit is correct.
I would do water changes if I were you. Lots os smaller ones is more beneficial than one large one right now. Keep the lights off, it's less stress on your fishies.

Yeah, I was just wondering the same thing.
Take your water to a LFS and get a second opinion on the readings, too.

no i didnt add them all at one time they all been in there together for two weeks.. i added the damsel and the angel and two weeks later added the tang and tomato clown.. and they all hve know been together for two weeks... sorry worded it wrong, and i was at lfs yesterday and they tested my water and got the same results..

could anything be introduced to a tank that would not show on a test and still harm fish??? kids do the darnedest things. just wondering.
