They laid enough to clog filters? That's insane! They should be attached to wherever they were laid until they hatch and by the time they hatch, there usually isn't nearly as many as there were in the beginning
If you have other fish in the tank, I'd turn off filtration, leave the powerheads running and let the other fish in the tank eat them.
Are you positive their clownfish eggs?

Clownfish eggs are usually laid and stuck the the back of a rock or under an anemone on the rocks. What your tank may be experiencing is flatworms - which can basically EXPLODE and go everywhere in the tank and practically take over. Poor water quality usually causes this, also not having enough flow throughout the aquarium. You can read several more articles on it elsewhere. Let us know if this is the problem - if not, we'll see if we can give another diagnosis.

slatwaterdud3, if the picture you are showing are the flat worm , my eggs look like black pearls and the male clown is guarding some of them in an urn like he fertilized them

thanks I appreciate that....have to find some emrald crabs
Yesterday I got an e-mail from SWF advertising a 24 hour special of 10 Emerald crabs for $19.99...while supplies last
YOU might want to check real quick to see if it is still on or that they have any left.....that's a great deal

I wasn't going to say anything because I've had my fair share of "Did I really ask that" mouments as I look back.... But yes this one was a good one! What size is your tank? 10 emralds might be a bit over kill, but if your LFS is anything like mine, they hold a good $5 a piece trade in value...... for the ones that aren't needed!
