Remember: IF you want to treat it with meds, DO NOT treat it in your main tank especially if you have live rock and inverts. Copper WILL kill all of those. Treat them in a quarintine tank and be sure the amount of meds you put in and do your water changes when needed, best would be hypo and feed them high quality foods. I would still try the garlic guard though. It really does work, quite a few others will agree with me on here. I've tried the meds before and don't really care for it, plus it did not work on my butterfly, it went away and came back, butterfly are picky. If the garlic guards don't work, it would be good to try hypo. Good Luck!!!

And garlic guard IS safe with live rock? Im not going to be home tomorrow so im leaving it to my mother to do these things. So if i can make it as simple as possible for her, it would help alot. I dont have a extra tank, so i think i may be stuck to the garlic method. Ill tell her to get some and put the directed amount in the tank if they are still alive. They didnt look good AT ALL 2 hours ago, and just this morning they only had not even a quarter of the spots.

garlic wil help, but it WILL not kill ich.. the only reason why garlic helps is so it boosts the immune system. when i left for my vacation, a list of things is always helpful
