Help I dropped my hammer coral!

I just got a wonderful neon green with puple tip hammer frag and when i attempted to remove it from the frag plug it flew behind my tank and fell on the ground. I retrieved it immediately and put it back in the tank. It doesnt look nearly as good as it did before. Will it make it any thing i should do to increase the chances? plz help!

Decent waterflow does help even though it looks like it would be destructive.

Did any of the skeleton break off where there's coral flesh? If so, you might consider breaking off that entire arm and trying to grow it separate from the main colony.

None of the skeleton broke just the tentacles were damaged.

It varies wildly from once a year to once a month. It depends mostly on water conditions and food.
