Help Identifying?

Can anyone tell me what these little growths are on my LR?
Also we have what appears to be a white sponge growing on a couple as well (or as my fiance says "it looks like a hocker")... Any ideas? Are these good/bad/indifferent?

The sponge is fine....I can't tell about the other things though

Here's another picture if it helps... They are about the size of a pea and look kinda fuzzy. Some are a dark gray color and some are white to off white.

If I were to guess I would say they were sponge also.....just the little ball type...

It may just be my eyes but i can't see them or things people post which have been tagged with red circles! any chance you could post them un-edited?
Must just be my bad eyes!
