Then just decide which you want when you go see the new arrivals/ Have them drop some frozen food in the tank, and which ever if any eat , would be the one I would buy, no contest there

i always wanted a psycodelic. Finaly let my tank mature and got enough lr and a large supplly of pods. went to the lfs, all they had were spotted. They were realy skinny and i felt bad not getting one and i did like them. so i got one. and now i couldnt be happier. I love the spotted so much now. I think you will be happy in whatever one you get lol

Cool starfish, nearly impossible to keep. The marbled sea star is in the genus Fromia (sp?). Fromia stars require a certain type of sponge to live, and a few other things, that home aquariums just can't sustain. Most die within the first month.
Good luck with it though, because my boss at my LFS has had one for 3 years! So, there is hope, just not much. I hope you didn't spend an arm and a leg on him. BTW, GET THE SPOTTED!

NateP206...sorry i can't really help...
But was just wondering for my own curiosity...how do you know when the pod population in your tank is enough to sustain a mandardin?? Is there a sign or something that you should look for??
Thank you!
