I think i screwed up big time.
I was testing my water tonight after no having tested alkalinity in a long while and I somehow got a brain fart and used ro/di water as my test sample.

Naturaly the api test read that the dkh was 1 or lower.

I used the BRS calculator and came up with needing to add 514 ml of 2 part alkalinity solution.

I thought i might not want to add all of it at one time so I only added 300ml.

I just realized what i did 30 minutes after adding the solution.

I am going to do a partial water change but, am I in serious danger of loosing everything?

Is there anything else I can do to lower it to a safe level? The test kit wont even get a reading now.

Thanks in advance
