I think I'm the only one who threw two stars in her tank from day one and they're still alive a year later. My only complain is they are like two horny teenagers left home alone!
oh yeah? I would love to get a second one. They have babies yet? LoL!

I just noticed under my UN says "yellow tang"... is that a joke admin is playing on me? LoL!
LOL ... quite ironic, but no. Every new member of the forum gets that. You can change it if you go into your User CP. I forget exactly where it is.

I wish they would! It's almost impossible for them to conceive in the home aquarium, and with the hefty CUC I have, it will never happen. But they're going to try, they're very determined, LOL. They're absolutely useless in my tank now that they've found one another. They were great sand sifters when they lived on opposite sides of the tank and didn't know the other existed, but then, I guess they reached puberty

I just saw some pics of your 155gal and it looks amazing! I was doing some reading today and now I'm wanting to start a 14gal biocube reef tank... there goes more spending! LoL!

Glad you took the tang back, I like the firefish.
Now I do have one small problem with your tank
Are those river rocks in there??????? Where did they come from???? You really should not have those in a SW tank. They can leach minerals you dont want into your tank

They are actually ocean rocks I found on the beach. I did boil them before putting them in so they should be clean. Is there any issues in this case or is that still a no no?

Thanks
It's only been up for two months, definitely not even close to finished but off to a nice start. You should have seen my 40G breeder before we tore it down. It was by far my favorite tank. The thread is on here somewhere.
I LOVE my 14G BioCube. They're great tanks and so pretty when they're done.

Now here is a question. I can get a 14gal BioCube for ~$180 and then a heater for ~20 so ~$200 total. Do you think it would be cheaper or more expensive say I get all the pieces separately if I want to start a basic 15-20gal reef tank?

i would still add a long nose hawk fish, you won't regret it and it would do great in that tank, they are like pet dogs and love to stare at you when you come to the tank.

You probably won't need a heater in that size tank. I didn't. You don't even want to know what I paid for my BioCube. I got ripped off! The only think you really need to add is a bag of carbon (if you choose) and the protein skimmer, which is like $50. The stock lighting is pretty decent as long as you don't pack it full of SPS.

Thanks. I'll put that on my list for next fish!

YAY. What T5 setup did you go with? I love my T5's but the stock bulbs were garbage.
