Help!! Somethings Wrong With My Filter!

I have the filstar XP1 cannister filter, and I'm in the middle of a water change. I changed the filtr media, and now every time I hook up the hoses to the filter box, water pours out from the sides, and doesnt stop.
What could be wrong?!?!

Sounds like you have a blockage....take it apart again, and carefully make sure everything is lined up...
Did you use the media recommended for this filter? If you put too much floss (or whatever) that can cause a flow problem too

Does this filter have o rings and gaskets to seal it? Did you forget to put them in maybe????
I do not know this filter...so I am guessing LOL

Did you line up the gaskets? (I am sure it has them)

I figured it out.. lol
The damn silicone seal for the top of the filter, got sucked inwards somehow, so it wasnt an air tithgt seal, which made it leak.
I dug it out with a screw driver, and now it works again.

its hardwood also,, gotta clean that up before the p[arents walk in haha.
Not much spilled, its just that each time I checked a little more came out lol. I have about 3 towels soaked in water atm. I was about to give up on this tank and sell it! haha I couldnt figure out what the heck was wrong lol.

Yea kindof lol..
Except the fact nothing was removable lol. The seal (rubber) got folded over in a wield possition which mesed it up lol.
