HELP what wrong with my ZOO???

This guy used to be a bright vibrant green zoo. for the last 2 weeks he has looked like the pic. What is wrong with him. Went to lfs and they said all the same things that this forum has said that irritate zoo's but i haven't seen anything on him. AND I LOOK ALL THE TIME!!! i have to get my hermits off him from time to time but that shouldn't keep him closed up all the time huh?? HE looks pitiful now as you can see. LFS gave me some Lugol's solution to kill any invert that may be bugging him but i haven't used it yet wanted to see what you guys thought
Is it just about to die?

oh yea, i know it looks like there is sand on him, but really it is more like a skin or something. it is almost like it is trying to "molt" if that makes any sense

I have some brown button polyps that look like that when they are closed...If I see anything on them I carefully wipe them off...

water parameters good. power compacts. have had these guys for about 5 months. been fine up until 2 weeks ago.
could just be coincidence but a couple of days after i put 10 small hermits in the zoo just closed up and has looked like this ever since. he looks terrible. at night he closes all the way up. the pic is him open believe it or not.

Maybe the hermits have just got it upset. I bought a big clump of these from a super sketchy LFS and they stayed closed up for about a month and I thought for sure they where dead, but then slowly they started to open and have been fine ever since, so don't give up on them.

blast them with turkey baster to get any unwanted slime/film off of them and move them to a different spot.. They might of been happy b4 where they are, but somthing pissed them off so moving should do the trick

ok used the stuff from fish store and put him back in tank all nice and clean and free of any invert Lets see if he comes back out to play
