UPDATE!
So I am off tomorrow and I got home early tonight.
I think that means (tests permitting) that I will be adding the critters into the 150 tonight!!
WOOHOO!!!!

Water looks good, all the cyano cleared up. Ammo has finally gone to ZERO and is staying there.
I need new MH bulbs, that is where the cyano came from. The lights have been off for a week and POOF! It's gone.
Snails have been in for about 2 ish weeks and are all still alive. I have HH feather dusters that are happy and a clump of zoas that opens every day. They were my experiment.
ALL signs point to yes!
So here goes! I am gonna get off the laptop and start moving corals and rock, then fish.
Wish me luck! I will try to take picture through out the night :)

AND THEY'RE ALL MOVED IN!!!
That was actually a lot less messy then I thought it was gonna be.
Standard stuff-
Couple of rock topples, during which I lost my new pink zoanthids. I think they must have fallen in the back AKA no mans lands. Those are probably gone forever. :( bummer.
All fish went in safely and they were pretty easy to catch in that little 60 gallon cube. *Le Sigh* that will never happen again.
The tang looks so SMALL now! He has this whole big tank to swim in now and he is just hanging. I thought for sure he would be cruisin' up and down the tank, enjoying the new roomie digs. No dice, he is simply hanging out and slowly sort of lazing about. Oh well.
Maybe in a week or two we will get him some more active friends.
I did not take many pictures but here is what I got. Apologies for the "runny" glass... You know how that goes when moving tanks.

So here is my porcelain crab. Isn't he a beaut? When he was first purchased, he fit in a shot glass. Here he is in a juice glass. :) he's is a big guy. I did see him often in the 60, I hope he comes out in the 150. I really don't want him to disappear.

The empty 60 gallon :(
Here is a view with from across the kitchen/living room of the 150
Hammond was helping.
So was Elise.
A view of the left side of the tank.
Oscar, my dusky jawfish.

Well, after a couple of days and nights, it looks like everyone is all settled in.
No fights, No jumping... Everyone is eating.

Lol Siptang, you just ship them in a bag of water. :) As long as they get to me in 48ish hours, they'll be good. You just put some styrofoam around em, really anything will do and then use like a USPS flat rate box, or something small and snug. DEFINITELY wanna make sure that there is thick foam around it for temp. insulation and also to help shield something "poking" through the box and bag.
You would have to send them expedited shipping though. That's why I was saying I will totally pay for the shipping.
So we made a purchase tonight. I am not sure how happy I am about it but we will see.
We have a friend who has been working on an LED light fixture project. A fully programable light fixture that also utilizes T5HO. It's mainly driven by LED but each 24'' fixture has 4 T5HO lights... I like this idea because we all know how I feel about LED fixtures.
This fixture features CREE LEDs... Each LED is 3 watts, I believe there is 36 LEDs per fixture. 2 green, 2 magenta and the rest are blue and white.
The lights themselves are not cheap just like a lot that I have seen. He has had a hand in making the lights all the way from design, to prototype, to the finished product.
The price was not bad either and I can say that these (in look and feel) are so much nicer than something like a radium or the vega (which we have looked at and I was NOT impressed with).
These have very nice, simple controls and nice looking digital screens. Easy to read and program (which is good for me).
We will see how my corals react to these.
I took several pictures while we were unpacking them and also took some shots of corals and fish under the new lights. These lights are just resting on leg mounts but I believe that we will have them hanging up by the weekend.

Here are the pics! These are not really edited. I got a few good shots but nothing great. All of these are VERY true to color.

Chompie, the new resident of the 60 gallon.
He is tiny compared to this normal sized light switch :) I like him. Not as exotic as I wanted to go but we will see what we do with him.

Rose bubble under the LEDs.

Brain coral, on the sand bed, under the LEDs.
New purple tube anemone. :) Now I just need an orange one and I will have all 3 colors!! YAY!
Smaller Maxi-mini carpet nem.

Oscar, the jaw fish. :) If you look closely, you can see his little teeth.

trumpets with their feeders out.

LOVE these acans under the LEDs.
orange crush acans

Clam's mantle all the way down on the bottom of the tank.

Nice pics!!
Cool fixtures. I have seen some of the LED, T5 combo units for sale but I have not seen any in action yet. Pretty neat. Does the T5 wash out the LEDs shimmer?
How many did you get? 2 or 3?
Do you have the LEDs at full power, or are you gradually increasing their intensity?
