I'm lookin for some help with ridding this stuff of snails and bristleworms before adding it to my tank. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I just purchased 2 bags of cheatomorphe algae from my lfs for $12. I'm going to replace the bioballs in my refugium with it. But I switched to a bare bottom tank a while back just to get rid of bristleworms. The lady at the lfs thankfully pulled most of the bristleworms out. But there are still some bristleworms, and I'm sure some eggs. So does anyone know a way to kill the hitch hikers without killing the algae? I'd rather just give it away and waste $12 than add bristleworms to my tank.
