Last week I had a couple of these in my tank, but I couldn't get a picture. Today I found about 10. What are these and are they good or bad for my tank? Below are two pictures. They didn't turn out the best but you can still see it. They look like some kind of clear slug or worm?

The pics arent that clear but my guess would be some kind of pods. They are a good thing in 1 in 15000 cases so I wouldnt worry about them. You dont have to feed them and they will do their own thing occassionally getting munched on by your fish.

All I see is your finger...and there usually are 10 of them, and yes they usually do cause problems in a tank...keep them out and you will be fine...

I had a bunch of those all over my tank a few months ago , but all seem to be gone now , and i have no fish , wonder what ate them then.

They might have starved to death. They require a fairly dense population of benthic Copepods or Ostracodes.
