Help with lights and skimmer >:(

I have a deltec MCE 600 skimmer and it is producing microbubbles like crazy and wet skimming that overflows the cup. What might be causing this?
Here is a pic of my lights:

See the diagonal string in the fixture on the left? Those lights are extremely dim? Any ideas?

Hmmmm have you done anything new to the tank.....I know you added new corals, but anything as far as dosing.....Have you pulled the skimmer apart and given it a good cleaning.....

The only thing I did was a like 5 gallon water change on Saturday and the wet skimming happened. I am going to take the skimmer apart either tonight or tomorrow morning.

Not a good sign for these guys. :(
The question is now, would you even spend the money to get the third unit?

On one hand the customer service I have received has been pretty good, but on the other I don't think anyone should have to replace this many things in less than a year. The majority of my issues occurred in the first 2 months. Another thing that ticks me off, is that the company new the original power supplies were inadequate and did not do a voluntary recall. The company redesigned the power supply and would ship it out if you asked. The only reason I knew about this issue was RC.
Rant Over.
Skimmer is cleaned and producing foam!!!

I haven't heard anything since I just emailed them tonight. I just noticed it last night. The only reason I noticed it was because I took the pic of the tank. I wasn't sure if it was due to any settings I have programmed. I checked the lights today to make sure it was the lights and not a setting. It's definitely the lights.

No, I can see it when I look at the tank. I just haven't been paying as much attention to the tank as I should be. The good thing is that my corals are not being affected. I have lower light corals on that side of the tank. This is noticeably bluer on that side of the tank.

Nope. I'll prolly have to start a thread on rc bashing their product. Not what I want to do.

I think I gave them a fair amount of time to respond and I emailed twice. I emailed the company and Chris directly.

Ok......So 1 of the 420 chips went bad.....What is their remedy to the situation and I would let Chris know the issues you've had with the purchase.....The would get me a fixture; no cost at all to you and that should be shipped out asap and a RMA sent as well to send the other back.....

Good luck with it, Krista. If you could get a new one out of it then I say go 4 it.
The chips on those didn't look like they are going to be too hard to replace. My guess is that they are going to try and get away with just sending you a new replacement chip. Which, in reality losing a led or two is going to happen from time to time. It will be interesting to see how the 4 different brands of chips in that fixture are going to stack up against one another in terms of longevity.
There is a small chance there could just be a loose screw on one of the contacts in that string that went dark. Or some other lose connection on that string. Sometimes things just need to be snugged back down a bit.
This might just be your first real maintenance experience, Krista.

Hmmm....You might be on to something. I will have to check the connections. I think it is possible I could have knocked a connection loose when I took the cover off to swap out some of the lenses recently.
I have already convinced myself that for my next tank build I am going to do a DIY fixture. I might even practice with the seahorse tank.
