Help with ro di back flow

Hi everyone. I have a coral life 4 stage ro Di system. I have been buying refills from BRS and I also bought a shut off, and a flow restrictor because I noticed there was not on my wasteline. Well it came to my attention that the flow restrictor is actually built into the 90 elbow of the waste line. So now I have both installed... Is that detrimental? Or does the initial flow restrictor do its job, and it just flows through the second flow restrictor?? Thanks in advance. Also i do not have a pressure gauge on this unit, but maybe I should add one.

Use two buckets to determine your reject rate. You want something in the area of 4 - 5 gallons of reject for each gallon of product.

I'm not sure where you are located but up north a common issue is caused by cold source water. It's too viscous to allow the RO to work correctly. I have to warm the source water before it gets to the membrane or I will waste a LOT of water.
