My water temp is always high.

Is there anything I could do to lower it and keep it at permanent temperature??

Run a chiller. Keep the house cooler. Do you have a glass top? If so, remove it.
+1.....you can also place small (like 4") fans to blow water across the top of the tank......
I have central air, BUT the room I keep all my tanks is usually warmer (or colder) so in the summer I run a window unit to keep the room cooler.....cooler room=cooler tanks
The window unit was much cheaper then a chiller would have been for a 225G LOL

I live in an apartment, and the same temperature region as you. I have a 2 bedroom apartment, with no central air just 2 window units (one in the kitchen and one in the master bedroom and the tank is in the living room). Now, my temp does not go above 81. I do not run a chiller either, and I usually only run the ac in the kitchen during the summer.
What can YOU do? You can get a chiller, use the clip on fans, remove the glass top if applicable, get fans, get portable ac unit, and the list goes on.

What is your room temperature? For a tank to be that hot you must be cooking yourself. Send us a picture of your set up.

Maybe because my T5 is about 3 to 4 inches above the water???
I just checked Ammonia is 0, Nitrite is 0, PH is 8.4 and Nitrate is between 5 and 10.

they dont create alot, but in certain situations they can definately raise the temp a deg or two which may be far too much by some peoples standards

My T5's are three inches off the tank - 6 of them I don't have any issues. What are you running for filtration?
