I am so stressed I listened to my LFS and now do I regret it. I had a clown fish false perc it had the clown fish disease. I went to the store to get the medication for her they said they do not believe in meds....So they said to do the fresh water dip. I did the fish looked terrible after. I was gone to work after so I was not home to monitor the fish...I made a huge mistake by putting her back in the display tank. When I got home I could not find her. I figured she was hiding in the rocks. This morning I still could not find her so I started moving ALL 150 lbs of rock and really stirred up the tank more then I would have liked. I never found her......What Do I DO NOW.....
Now I am worried that my moving everything is gone to cause an ammonia spike

Any advise would be great
Thanks Kelly

if you have a cleanup crew, you won't find the fish.
you've got 150lbs of rock, so you must have a decent sized tank. you won't see any issues i'd bet. the only problem is the disease, but if your other fish aren't affected don't worry about it.

I hate to say this... but sometimes the one fish isn't worth all the damage you can do by trying to save a fish that more than likely is already a goner.
Do what you can for sick fish.. but other than that it just seems like you can spend a lot of money trying to save a fish... and end up destroying your whole tank.
Sorry to hear about your clown :(

Thanks I stopped looking for the fish I guess my clean-up crew took care of the problem....I only have 3 more fish they are fine My tank seems good just looks alittle different now hard to get the rocks back the way they were...I thought I squashed my gobby and pistol shrimp but they are fine

Next time I have a problem before I do anything it is post here first
This forum is GREAT

I have 4 clowns, 2 in each tank and no problems.
I wil ltell you this, I have had a fish come M.I.A. and there is no way I am taking my 175lbs of rock out...Like I read earlier...if you have a clean up crew...it gave back to it's environment...LOL
