hello,
about 2 weeks ago i got a bgta and it stayed in the same pace up untul yesterday he started moving and this morning i woke up to the loudest grinding noise and i found my anemone all tangled up in it ive benn at school and i just got back and he split in half the half thats in the power head is a goner i think but the other half looks pretty good? o and this morning my water was so cloudy i could barely see through it???

o sorry power head and i was going out this weekend to get a sleve thing because i couldnt find a lfs that sold them. whyd u let me do this meowzer!!!!!!! jkjkjkjkjkjk

It's OKAY! We all make silly mistakes.
Do a huge water change.
I hate to be the bearer of bad news, BUT, the other half is probably a goner as well. Can you QT it?

yup the half in the power head is a goner but the other half is just like new!!
ill get some water ready tonight.

i have a quarintene but it dose not have proper light at all!

Can you get your hands on any pantyhose? LOL.....
You can cut a piece and place it over the powerhead until you can get a piece of foam...
Do you have a pic of the "good" half.....I am curious how it got cut in half and 1/2 is fine :)

okay because hes moving around alot and he moved right by my other power head and i cought about 1 secound before it got sucked in the anemone totaly brake the power head it got stuck in it sounds like a tornado!!!

What powerheard are you using so that your anem will get caught in it? I have a koralia and there is no way anything thicker than a nail is getting into the fan.

its a pengiun power head? i took it apart this morning and ewww it was so clogged with anemone it was really sad and my protein skimmer was FULL of tentacles!

okay this is a stupid question but would adding garlic extreme to the water to help him heal like fish?
i also did my water change 8 gallons. and im sorry but i cant really get a pic cause where he is.

You say the "bad" part hid in a cave???? If it is dead you really want it OUT of the tank asap.....dead anemone is NASTY anemone and bad for your water...
COVER YOUR PH :)
OOPS...about your question....just leave it alone and keep your water quality excellent

WELL...if it is dead and walking RUNNNNNNN

Just keep a close eye on them....are you sure they are moving themselves, and not being pushed by any current???
