Welcome!!!! Best advice is start doing a lot of reading, and purchase some good books....I know somewhere on the forum here they have a sticky of some of the top books they recommend.....So my best advice at this point is read, read, patience, water changes and more reading.......

ALSO.....can you tell us what is in the tank (fish)? How about what type of equipment? can you post a picture?

it would be alot of help to us to help you if you had a list of everything in the tank.can your boss make a list of the corals and fish?
alot of corals and fish all have different needs.by pinch of food i hope he dont feed just flakes and pellets.
go to ***** and get a frozen multi pack food for saltwater fish.
you will need a water test kit and a refractor for water salinity.you can get by with a hydrometer for short term.
also do you know about water changes?

Wow, welcome to the hobby...surely he gave some kind of instructions. Yes a book like saltwater aquariums for idiots, don't let the title fool you..it really is very informative.
The Conscientious Marine Aquarist by Fenner is another really good book.
