Aww...don't get mad at him - he just got the reef tank bug like the rest of us and wants to start his own tank!

He told me he wanted to move south for the summer, so I made a deal with him. I told him that if he paid his own way, he could stay in my tank.
There you have it.
in a couple weeks, he'll be gone.

I had a pink one too and it would put anything it could get to on its back didn't have much for coral at the time but it would pick up live snails and live hermits and put them on its back along with numerous shells and rocks.

So not really knowing anything about urchins, does it hurt the items it does this to? Other than the obvious?

I dont think so he just hold onto them and totes them around the zoanthids are open so are both kenya trees. about the only thing I can think of is the constant shift in light intensity from the urchin moving up and down in the tank may stress them out eventually.
