Hi Ricker. Tell me more about your Angel. How big is it and how long have you had it? Does the coloration look Brighter than other fish?
I'll bump up a post I did on my Lagoon for you.

it is brightly colored with most of its side orange and red in color, i got it friday from a well respected lfs where i know the two owner/ managers well and am sure they would not sell me a fish taht was not eating or sick, its is roughly 3 to 4 inches long and swims freely and seemingly happy and interacts well with my clownfish, it just wont eat
thanks for your know how, and could you tell me how to check the bump or whatever on your lagoon im new at this message board

My Lagoon thread should be on page 1 or 2 in the Reef Forum.
If your fish was eating in the store then it was not caught by Cyanide. Cynaide destroys the digestive tract and makes the color unusually brighter. That's why I asked.
I would suggest just giving it a few days and it should start eating.

By Bright, I just mean brighter than normal. You would need to see a healthy one next to it.
Once it starts eating it shouldn't be picky. Almost any food should be gladly accepted.
Here's my 3 year old...

Don't be worried about the ratio between Orange & Blue/purple. If the orange part looks unnaturally orange that's a problem.
If it was eating at the store I'm sure it's fine.

on a different note, i looked at the thread on your lagoon and most of the pictures wouldnt load for me, most likely because my internet could be rivaled fairly against a string and two cups, but is your lagoon built to look down on the water, is there no eay to see it from the sides?, it sounds amazing though just by reading the threads
again thanks for all of your help

Have you tried some seaweed sheets on a rock? Get some of the purple or green seaweed selects sheets. Tear off a piece about 2 and a half inches by 1 and a half inches. Place it on a small rock with a rubber band. My small angelfish (flame and lemonpeel) like the purple as it is suppose to be softer I think. This may help you as these fish are rock grazers in the wild. Good luck, Lesley
