Its been a long time since i have been on here. my internet has been down so i haven't had a chance to get on. while I have been offline I have had a problem in my tank. I have had 2 fish come up missing. I had a firefish goby and a sleeper goby come up missing and I have no idea where they could have went I have three suspects my coral banded shrimp,alge blenny, or my purple tip anemone. anybody ever heard of this before or could help me out it would be greatly appreciated. I need to find out what is doing this before i get anymore fish.

yeah meowzer i have looked all over the place and they are nowhere to be found. i was told that the coral banded shrimp could be killing them and then i was told the anemone could be catching them i have seen my coral banded chase the fish. and i was also told that the algae blenny could be attacking them. but whatever is doing it hasen't messed with my clownfish and my sixline

IDK...I have heard of certain anemones that will eat a fish if it sets on it.....By algae blenny...you mean lawnmower blenny??? I have never heard of them attacking a fish like that...doesn't mean it can't happen...wierd

yeah its a lawnmower blenny.... he gets real pissed when something new gets in the tank and he attacked the sleeper goby when i first put him in but after like a day he left him alone then a month later the sleeper goby is there one day then gone the next and like a week later firefish goby was there one day gone the next. i heard the cbs has been known to snip a fishes tail off and when it dies eat it but i dont know what is goin on. so i traded my cbs off today for a horseshoe crab

ARE YOU SERIOUS??? You got a horseshoe crab for a 24g tank....

yeah its a small one and i'm fixing to get a 55g tank shortly........and i have checked in the chambers and there is nothing back there

Even so...from what I hear those things get very big

that horseshoe crab will get very big overtime. but for now it should be fine. the fish are probably hiding somewhere, my firefish hid in a very tiny little hole in a rock and i didnt know where he was for a day or two and then he came out and now that is his home.

Your fine for now with the horseshoe crab. They are very cool and interesting to watch when they are young and small. When they reach max size they become 12 in. in diameter. Hopefully you can take it back to your LFS later. Do you have any cats or dogs?
They could have got tasty snack.

yeah he is real small right now. and no i dont have a cat or dog. the fish have been missing for about a month. anybody got any ideas of a new fish to add to my tank i have a 24g and right now i have 1-clownfish, 1- sixline wrasse, & 1- lawnmower blenny. I want something with alot of color any ideas?
