Hey Mods: can I complement an online retailler?

I recently purchased an RO/DI filter from an on-line retailler. All they do are RO/DI units and related equipment. I had a very good experience... and since it's rare that a company meets my standards for service, I'd like to give them a little word-of-mouth promotion.
Is that acceptable, or would they be considered a competitor of SWF?

The reason for the no links rule, is not because of a perceived notion of "threat", but more, not wanting to turn SWF into a stomping ground for free ads space, and a lot of free spam.
