I have a mickey platty, an albino cory cat, and a neon in my 5 gallon tank. I feed them flakes and pellets every other day. I like watching my fish.
Hello Evelynne, welcome to the site.
Are you planning on a saltwater tank someday?
Hi Evelynne - is your dad Monsinour by any chance, welcome to the forum, I have FW tanks as well - albino cories like to have friends with them, they do better when there is a least two of them. Good luck, let's see some pictures of your tank.
Hi honey! This is my daughter and she helps her dad with our salt water tank, mostly by helping pic out the fish that go in there. She even picked out the pink people eater coral. She likes to help feed them and is always good at helping to turn off the pumps at feeding time. The orchid dottyback in the tank is hers as well as the clown fish. She and Monsi are both very into our salt water tank and she loves watching all the fish.

That is awesome, my son help's me out a lot too, I think sometimes he knows the fish names better than me. Keep up the good work Evellyne
Hi there sweetie. Evie has done a great deal of choosing out fishes for the tank. She always has an opinion on them. She had also picked out the purple Firefish that got eaten so she is wanting another one to go into the tank to replace it. She does have an eye for coral as she is constantly picking out the pink ones, and the expensive ones. She has her eye on this pink brain coral at the LFS that is $100. Its not too hard to tell her no when it costs that much.
She is currently taking pics of her tank.
Hi and welcome to the site. I also have a freshwater tank and am in the process of setting up a 75 gal Saltwater tank.. I think fish tanks are exciting, rewarding and relaxing.. Good luck with your fish tanks...

Nice tank!
I just had to go in an manually validate your post since the system deleted it. Sorry about that.
You have no idea how POed I was to see that the post was being held for moderation. I think it looked like I was going to grab the monitor and toss it across the room. OMG, its really hard to explain whats going on with the posts to her. She cant wait to get on tomorrow and talk more about her tank.
You know you can mix them - I have a 65 gallon planted tank FW and I have 6 cories in it - 2 sabines, 2 peppered, 2 teddy bear - they are actually a schooling fish they like company.
