hello, I saw this crawling through my rock, it had a very long leg (or body) with small "tenticles" or something which was moving around the rock like it was looking for food. it was white and looked like it has a skeleton like body, didnt stick around long at all so my pictures arent good, ive checked out the hitchhikers page but most of the photos arent there. anyone have an idea what it is?

Looks like a bristleworm. A beneficial part of your clean up crew...they will mostly stay in the sand, and eat detrius and other waste matters
just don't touch one..LOL...I hear the bristles sting

yes bristle worm, and yes they sting i'm told its like getting little glass needles stuck in you.

Weird I was holding one earlier at lfs today it was beautiful had like a blue line down the middle I will def be more careful in the future
