Sorry no pics and little progress tonight. I started cutting out the front door to replace with the new door. Hopefully tomorrow I'll get the old door out and the new one in.

I'm scheduled for surgery in the morning. Dr. Frankenfurter will be performing the procedure. He will be re-attaching my radial head with 2 screws. I'm not sure he's talking about my elbow?

Evidently I destroyed the cartilage in there. The radial head is repaired. Surgery went a little longer than expected. I have spent the last 2 days mostly in terrible pain. I did mange to get a decent nights sleep last night and I'm feeling much better today.

There is plenty humor in this. My wife is a 4th semester student RN, she just happened to be doing her clinical rotation in the ER the same day I wrecked my elbow.
I drove my work truck that's a standard in to the hospital, about 45 mile trip. On the way, I passed my sister and brother in law, but didn't recognize them because he was driving a new truck.
I'm bartering with the surgeon for his fees. He's got some electrical work he needs done.

I've made some progress, I got the new front door installed, and all the 1X12 planks up on the front of the house. We had the new windows installed yesterday. The deck is somewhat back in place, this is much more of a challange with one gimped up arm.
I'll get a lot of the trim in front finished tomorrow. Here are some night time pics. These are the best I can do with my photography skills. I wish it were a more accurate depiction. You get the idea though. The LED lighting washing the rock will continue along the front also.

What brand is the house?
I looked high and low for something like that when we moved to the Denver area but no such luck.

Duchess, 28X80. We have just about completly redone the entire house. I gotta figure out now where the remaining $2200.00 is going to come from to complete the project. I havent been able to work as much as I should with the arm gimped up.

Write your congressman and tell them you need a 2200.00 stimulus package but not a bailout

Sucks about the elbow

That does not even look like the house I visited once. You are doing a great job, sorry about your elbow. OUCH!
On another note, do you know of anyone who wants a frag of candy cane. A piece broke off while I was cleaning.
