really doesnt effect me that much since I screwed up my back I dont go out very often I havent put gas in car in 3 weeks now and I only put in 20$ then.
but if I was driving the way I used to that wouldnt be a good thing it would cost me 100-150$ a week in gas or more.

This wont affect me, but one of the counties in my school system is changing their schedule to 4 extended days a week instead of 5 regular days to save gas from buses, etc
I have just gone to a four day week to save money. I drive 75 miles round trip to work. The whole trickle down effect is blowing our budget. Got to sit down and re-structure. How bout the experts saying it could go as high as 10$/gal by next year. Unbelieveable

I put anywhere from 50 to 400 miles a day on my vehicle and I'm thankful to have a company provided gas card, so it has little or no effect on me

its not gas that scares me.
its heating oil...companies are locking people in at $6 a gallon, saying it could get to $8 or more

they are totally taking advantage of us, we are all suffering while the oil companies are recording record profits!!!!!!!!!!!!! The only way it will stop is if we stop!! yep that's right , if we all stopped driving for just one day, it would bring them to their knees, think of it ,the cost of loosing 1 days work vs paying these prices forever!!! not a bad trade , but we are not united enough and they know that. I owned a restaurant for years, if I could sell a chicken dinner for 75.00 in stead of 20.00 i would~!~~ if people stopped eating it ...... I would HAVE TO lower the price!!!!!! I am telling you it would work!!!

I traded my Katana motorcycle in for a new Vulcan 900. I do save money driving the bike instead of driving my 4 cyl car. I am cutting back on smoking cigarettes. 1 pack use to lasted me one day. I bought two packs since saturday. And I have over 3/4 left out of the second pack left. Now I smoke between 0 to 4 or 5 cigarettes a day. This has been doing well for the last four days. That is a BIG savings in my pocket and helps pay ofr gas. $44 to fill my car and $15 to fill the bike up.

How about the fact they are tacking on even more and trying to slide it under the radar. Around here the stations have started the higher price for credit then cash again. I have not seen that in like 15 years. I unfortunately didnt notice it until I used my debit card and paid what I thought was the med grade price on the board-it was actually the credit price. It seems to be about 8-10 cents more a gallon. Since most people use debit cards and dont carry that much cash--60 bucks for a fill up I dont keep in my visor lol, they just kind of slid that one in. It may not seem like alot but I also know that the fee a credit card company charges is only about 1% if that. Other businesses generaly include that in there "cost of doing business" and I just think with the profit they are making now to add on like this is even more obscene!!

I would contact your Attorney General's office. There may already be a law preventing this outragous scalping!

The affect on the price of groceries that the price of gas has means it's costing a lot more then you may think.
