I ride my bike and walk everywhere now, and it's really hot out too.

I would contact your Attorney General's office. There may already be a law preventing this outragous scalping!

I hate paying the price but it hasn't affected anything I do. Heck, I'm actually considering buy a new Yukon Denali that gets about 12 to 14 MPG to pull my motorcycles to track days. More than likely going to get the Acadia though.

My sister just got an Acadia. It is very nice SUV.
I am in the same boat as you with gas effecting me. My lifestyle hasnt changed a bit. As usual, I will be loadin the quad in my Tundra on Saturday and heading north on the interstate to hit up Croom. A day of riding is costing me about $40 and worth every penny!!!!

How about the fact they are tacking on even more and trying to slide it under the radar. Around here the stations have started the higher price for credit then cash again. I have not seen that in like 15 years. I unfortunately didnt notice it until I used my debit card and paid what I thought was the med grade price on the board-it was actually the credit price. It seems to be about 8-10 cents more a gallon. Since most people use debit cards and dont carry that much cash--60 bucks for a fill up I dont keep in my visor lol, they just kind of slid that one in. It may not seem like alot but I also know that the fee a credit card company charges is only about 1% if that. Other businesses generaly include that in there "cost of doing business" and I just think with the profit they are making now to add on like this is even more obscene!!

I believe that cc company's charge anywhere from 3-5 percent per transaction and that debit cards are a set fee per transaction.
