Owens who? The Eagles got stomped and I am so happy. Now maybe I will stop hearing about the Mcnabb-Owens connection being so great for one day.

Actually, I was not surprised with the Jets victory. I am convinced Tampa Bay is about an 8-8 team . They simply do not have enough horses on offense. If you stop their running game their boat is sunk. Cadillac did not play which is not surprising since he was only a part time player at Auburn, avergaing about 15-18 carries a game.
It will be tough for him to remain healthy as I beleive he is not physically ready for the weekly punishment nfl bell cow running backs receive. He will probably miss a few more games throughout the season...we'll see.
Wow, what a great baseball game on Sunday with the Astros victory. I am not a big baseball fan but what a game. I managed to sneak in some peaks between football plays.
great effort for Dallas. Too bad Keymouth had to sour the victory with his antics on the sideline. Usually, a sign of trouble but hopefully they can work though it. hard to know what was said but certainly Keymouth has a history.
Should the Eagles have another outting like that ...do you think TO will remain a "good boy"?
I hope for you Darth that Dallas will continue. One thing is for sure...the only consistency in the nfl this year appears to be inconsistency. Teams look great one week and you think they have turned the corenr..and the next week thay are back in the turlet.
Only a few teams in each conference have shown consistency...most are in the afc. All teams have the first quarter of the season under their belt....so still a little early to tell.

That was Keyshwans first verbal incident since joining the boys. Brought on by a comment from Bledsoe. Keyshawn has said it is old news. Besides you show me another reciever int he NFL that will stay in the backfield and pick up the blitz. He did this 6 times in the game. There aren't many recievers that would even entertain this, muchless do it with the success he did. The verbal altercation I believe was brought on by the injury he sustained on that play (bruiseed sternum). I am not worrying about him regaining his old mouthiness. He knows Parcells won't put up with it.

I believe green bay just looks too disorganized. favre isnt looking up to par, however he is controlling his urges a whole lot more to throw the ball when he shouldnt. I wouldnt expect much more from them this season.
Pittsburgh looking strong, this three headed monster that cowers has created is going to be a serious contender.
New England even though I am a huge fan, probably will not make it all the way this year. they just arent looking strong enough to me, and with their injuries at hand, they better figure out a way to win, Vinateri isnt going to be there forever.
Dallas, always have been and will continue to be a bunch of thugs. Parcells apparently prefers this, and condones this, fine, but wont see them do well until they start to play as a team.
Falcons, wow wow wow, if you missed their loss to New England sunday, you missed one hell of a showing. with Vick hurt, shaub came to play! their offense was extremely strong and their defense did what they could. Expect to see a lot more from them this year...
ok thats all for me now..

When did Dallas change their mascot to the Raiders? Thugs? How do you figure?

Green Bay played with emotion,..the Saints had no emotion and the butts were kicked. In this league, you best come ready to play EVERY week or else you will get your butt kicked. Philly was not ready..as they are not that bad and Dallas is not that good.
Schaub is a more accurate passer then Vick. NFL defenses figured Vick out towards the end of last year and in the playoffs. Stay in your rushing lanes and let Vick throw. he is not an accuate passer but he does possess the one thing nfl defenses are not designed to stop...running QB's. Contain him in the pocket and you neutralize his one asset. he has a strong arm...but he often misses receivers when throwing from the pocket.
His styl is such that he will laways be on the bench for a few games due to the hits he takes.
Falcons are around an 8-8 to 10-6 team. They still have unimpressive wide receivers but they do have a great tight end. Stop the running game and you stop the offense.
Dallas is not a thug team at all. Keyshawn just has a problem with his mouth...that's it. They are not a classless team.
The last true "thug" team was the Eagles under Buddy Ryan. That is one classless head coach.
The nfc north is wide open. Green bay is righ in it and only one game down in the win column..as Detriot is 2-2. Once the teams in the north start playing each other...anything can happen.
If you look at the season to date for dallas...there is nothing to indicate thay have reached the elite in the nfc. Let them beat the Giants and then sting a couple wins sfter thaat.
Personally, I beleive Dallas will lose this weekend.....we'll see.
They still appear to be headed in the right direction. Atlanta may not even make the playoffs.
They may get their butts handed to them this Sunday if THEY do not come ready to play. A trap game for them against the Saints much like the Grren bay game was a trap game for the Saints. Deuce appears gone for the season and Horn may not play again.
The finsh of the Atlanta game on Sunday was predictable. ..with or without Vick.
Talking about thugs...the stunt pulled before the Philly game in Atlant eearlier this year certainly made Atlanta look like thugs. Classless!!

Don't be dising my Raiders!!! They aren't cheap shot artists like the Boys or the Eagles have been in the past. They just get nit picked for a reputation thay earned back when they had hired assasines in the lineup

Actually the San Franciso 49ers in their glory years used a techinique of offensive line blocking that included leg whips and chop blocks. many teams complained of these 'dirty" tactics and quite a few defensive linemen suffered knee injuries.

Speaking of thugs.......
RIP Charles Martin, Who Made The Dirtiest Play Ever In NFL History
Chicago Tribune reporter David Haugh on the infamous play by Green bay packers defensive tackle Charles Martin, who passed away in January:
Martin took the field that Sunday afternoon on Nov. 23, 1986, wearing a towel displaying the numbers of three Bears offensive stars--9, 34, 83--McMahon, Walter Payton and Willie Gault, respectively, plus 63 and 29 for Jay Hilgenberg and Dennis Gentry. In Bears-Packers lore, the numbers scrawled on the towel will always be known as "the hit list."
After Packers safety Mark Lee intercepted a McMahon pass in the second quarter of a game eventually won 12-10 by the Bears, Martin grabbed McMahon from behind and body-slammed him to the ground.
"It was at least 20 seconds after the interception," said Jerry Markbreit, a retired NFL official who worked the game. "I don't think he had an awareness of how late it was, or that the play was over. McMahon was walking to the sideline, had relaxed, and he picked him up and smashed him to the ground."
Markbreit worked 461 NFL games over 23 years. He had never been so shocked by a player's action. To that point in league history, no player had ever been thrown out of a game for anything but a fight.
But Markbreit, bothered by the severity of the hit and a little concerned Bears players "might kill" Martin, ejected the defensive tackle and escorted him off the field. Markbreit's decision ultimately cost Martin a two-game suspension and $15,000 fine.

the raiders are suckers. im so glad that the vikes (ugh 1-3) shipped Moss off to LA. True, he has to be one of the best recievers the NFL has ever seen. (2nd to Jerry Rice of course). Sit down all you Philthadelphia fans, TO stands for Terribly Over-rated.
Along with all of Moss's talents comes his luggage in the form of being a big d-bag.

Uh-Oh....

IRVING — The entire nation saw it. His head coach witnessed it. Terrell Owens, the baddest of all bad boys, saw it. And football fans will continue to see it throughout the upcoming week.
Keyshawn Johnson was momentarily miffed over his quarterback's stern admonitions to do a better job of protecting the ball after the wide receiver's fumble that Philadelphia returned for a touchdown late in the third quarter.
He erupted on the Cowboys' sideline. He wagged an angry finger in Drew Bledsoe's direction and had to be physically restrained from going after him.
Vintage Keyshawn.
"It's not over," Johnson insisted straight-faced in the Dallas locker room. "(Bleep) Drew."

Johnson was deactivated in the last six games with Tampa Bay for "dogging it". He is in no way, shape or form a top nfl receiver for doing such a thing. He can't shut up.........it will implode the team.
We'll see

The Raiders have done well in the past with headcases. Moss might turn out for them yet.
