Dallas rushing is 16th in the league an averging 3.2 yards per carry. This simply is not good enough to be a consistent winner...unless you have a high powered passing game or a lights out consistent defense. Teams will simply leave 7 in the box making it more difficult for Bledsoe to throw. Add to that MeShawn only has 4.6 speed and that leaves double coverage on Glen.
Dallas can make up for this with Witten exploiting the middle of the field but they will be in trouble should their rushing game continue to struggle. They are averging about 111 yards rushing per game but they must improve on that 3.2 yard per carry average.

it's where you end up at the end of the season which is why I simply pointed out they need to increase their yards per carry average. if they cannot pose a threat on the ground god to average nfl defenses will eventually shut the passing game down...we'll see.

Certianly, the plays given up in that Washington/San Fran strectch by the secondary was/is cause for concern. They also could not shut down NY on that last drive.
The defense still played a good game against NY...but the big time nfl defenses step up and shut teams down when the game is on the line. Still a young season.
Parcells style of football relies heavily on a runnig game.

honestly im not a parcells fan... AT ALL
cortez blows a game(week 3?) and missed an extra point (week 2?), but he stays... i would have boot him so fast
quincy carter got the boot for for a failed blood test... poor decision
and was it last year or 2 years ago when derick roos got the boot for fumbling 2 punts in a game...pretty much just as worst as missing a PAT and blowing a game

When Cortez played in the xfl he was awful. Did not do much in San Fran either. I believe he will cost the Cowboys an additional game or two down the line. He did win it on Sunday....but that guy is inconsistent.

Cowboys at Seahawks:The Cowboys might be the most overrated team in the NFL this year. But they’ll face competition for that coveted honor this week against the Seahawks.

HOW BOUT THEM BOYS!!!!!
Sorry, I couldn't resist. I am just giddy that the Raiders were far enough ahead in the 4th quarter than I actually had to look for a more entertaining game. That only happens once a decade or so.

Tough loss for the Cowboys ....their defense played well but it was the second week in a row they gave up a big drive to tie the game within the last two minutes.
The throw by Bledsoe was awful. The type of play/throw you do not expect from a veteran in that situation.
They had the ball twice within the ten twice ..one field goal and one missed field goal. Cortez plus weak running game equals loss...although Bledsoe certainly contributed.
I had to chuckle when Parcells asked Cortez what was his problem. Hey Parcells...go look at the XFL tapes and the San Fran tapes. THe guy is AWFUL!!!!
From first to last place in one game based on winning %. Tight divisional race.
